# How to Disable 2FA for WhatsApp API Number on your Facebook Business Manager?


You need to disable 2FA on your Facebook business manager page if you want to migrate a WhatsApp Business API phone number.

Ensure you have admin access to your business manager page to disable 2FA.

To do this:

1. Login to your Facebook Business Manager.

2. Click Accounts on the left and select WhatsApp accounts.

3. Click Settings under WhatsApp accounts.

4. Click the WhatsApp Manager button to be redirected to the WhatsApp overview page.

5. Hover the mouse over to the left to reveal the settings and click Phone numbers under Account Tools.

6. You can see the lists of connected phone numbers in the next screen. Find your phone number and click Settings. Click on Two-step verification in the menu on the left, and click the "Turn off two-step verification" button. 

Note: Once you have disabled 2FA, a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.
