How do I hide the Notify me button for specific variants of a product?
To hide the Notify me button for specific variants of a product, first we need to create a Metafield for variants.
Go to Settings
Select Custom data
Select Variants
Click on Add definition
Set the Name to be Hide Notify me button
Set the Namespace and key to be peppyduck.hide_notify_me_button
You can leave the Description blank
Click on Select type and scroll down to find True or false and choose that option
Click on Save
The hard part is over!
Go to Products and select the product for which you want to hide specific variants
Scroll down and select the variant that you want to hide and click on it
On the variant page, scroll down to the bottom of the page to Metafields
Find the Hide Notify me button field (you may have to click View all if you don't see it) and set it to True
That is all! The Notify me button will not be shown for this variant now
